Introduction

The G(Safe) glove box from Jacomex is a high-security negative-pressure enclosure that safeguards both operator and environment when handling toxic, critical, or radioactive substances. Compliant with ISO 10648-1 and AGS-G006-2005, it features nuclear-grade ventilation and alpha-beta containment for outstanding safety performance.

PureLab – Inert is a modular glove box range designed to maintain an ultra-pure atmosphere – with oxygen and moisture levels kept below 1 ppm. Suitable for research, industrial production, and sensitive processes, these enclosures offer precise, scalable environmental control.

Applications
  • Nuclear industry : alpha-beta confinement for fuel research, tritium work, or decommissioning.
  • Research institutes & laboratories : safe handling of carcinogenic or highly sensitive materials under controlled atmosphere.
  • Industrial processes : production and packaging of toxic powders, critical-waste management.

PureLab is ideally suited for:

  • Additive manufacturing and handling of oxygen/moisture-sensitive powders,
  • Li-ion battery R&D and reactive material research,
  • Nuclear, pharmaceutical, electronics (OLED, semiconductors), and fine chemical industries with stringent purity requirements,
  • Any environment requiring a dry, inert, and scalable atmosphere with high traceability and performance.

With its modular engineering, continuous high-performance purification, and extensive customization options (airlocks, cold storage, vacuum ovens, etc.), the PureLab – Inert series delivers a dependable, controlled environment. It is perfectly suited to support the most sensitive and demanding applications in modern science and industry.

Technical characteristics
  • ISO 10648-2 class 1 leak-tightness.
  • 304L or 316L stainless-steel shell and frame for easy decontamination.
  • Automated control of mechanical ventilation and safety valves.
  • Dual-flow HEPA filtration with Bag In Bag Out (BIBO) filter housings.
  • Ventilated airlocks and industry-standard feedthroughs.
  • Optional gamma / neutron shielding and acid-resistant coatings.
  • Hermetically sealed modular architecture, operable under positive or negative pressure, expandable with additional modules,
  • Closed-loop gas purification continuously removes O₂ and H₂O to maintain ultra-low purity,
  • Two product lines: PureLab HE (fully automated for production/research) and I‑Lab (cost-effective for less intensive applications),
  • Available in 2-, 3-, or 4-glove workstation configurations (2GB, 3GB, 4GB) to suit various volumes and spaces,
  • Fully automated control: touchscreen, PLC, gas management with regeneration, HEPA filtration, and data traceability.
