Alfa Laval wins North Sea contract

Alfa Laval, a world leader in heat transfer, separation and fluid handling, has announced it has won a contract worth €10 million for the delivery of Framo pumping systems to a British oil platform. The platform in question is managed by Maersk Oil and is located off Aberdeen in the North Sea.

Lars Renström, President and CEO of Alfa Laval, commented on the news: “I am pleased to announce this large order for our Framo pumping systems to one of the major players in the offshore oil and gas industry. The Framo product range has broadened our portfolio of reliable products well-suited for the demanding applications in the oil and gas industry. ”

 

Alfa Laval stated that the British oil industry in the North Sea has been using Framo products for 40 years.
