Automatica, the world’s leading exhibition for smart automation and robotics is taking place in Munich from the 21st of June to June 24. The organisers describe the show as a trade fair which brings together all the key technologies in the international technology hub of Munich, making Automatica a meeting point for constructive and visionary cross-sectoral exchange between industrial, research and political representatives. The exhibition is designed to provide attendees with a vision of gradual advancement from automated to autonomous production may become reality, thus enabling companies to grow and develop.
The last edition of Automatica took place in 2018 and the event organisers are keen to underline just how much the industry has changed in the subsequent years with a particular emphasis on green technologies, sustainability, digitalization and Industry 4.0. Automatica covers the entire value chain from components to systems, from services to applications in Robotics, Assembly/ Handling Technology, Machine Vision, and Digital Solutions for the Smart Factory.
In addition to the Automatica exhibition, two co-located events will also be taking place simultaneously, namely Analytica, the world’s leading marketplace for products and services along the entire value chain for modern laboratory processes, and Ceramitec, a meeting point for the international ceramics industry where exhibitors from all over the world present their entire portfolios at the ceramics trade fair.
