Dalkia invest in compressed air

Dalkia, a subsidiary of EDF giant, has announced the acquisition of 100% of the company Techsim Montpellier, specialist in the design, installation and maintenance of compressed air production systems.
Compressed air is working fluid which has a significant energy saving potential according Dalkia, because of its large electric content. Techsim and has several contracts with major companies in the IAA sectors, chemistry, pharmacy or nuclear. In 2015, Techsim carried nearly 8 million turnover, employing 44 employees and offering auditing solutions, design and installation of compressed air plants, nitrogen and  breathable air.
Burtin Serge, Dalkia Mediterranean Regional Director, commented on the news: “Techsim has the engineering capabilities, work and after-sales service to become the competence center” compressed air, breathing air and nitrogen generation “of Dalkia. We are happy to have, now, the opportunity to work closely with  Techsim specialists and thus diversify our supply of industrial services. “
