Diota aims to conquer the European 4.0 industry market

The French publisher of software solutions for optimising and digitising industrial processes, Diota, aims to conquer the European 4.0 industry market. The company has just raised €7 million which will enable it to continue its European expansion.

It should be noted that the company has already started its expansion in 2017, by opening a subsidiary in Germany. It has entered the market with several augmented reality solutions for the industry, including tablets, connected glasses, HoloLens headsets and projectors. In 2018, Diota focused on the perception of industrial robots in order to expand its offer from just augmented reality to an offer of “Industry 4.0” solutions.

With this fund, the company intends to create two additional offices in Europe and strengthen its indirect sales network.

According to Diota, €5 million was provided by CM-CIC Innovation, a group that invests its equity in start-ups, and its three other historical investors including Calao Finance, Safran Corporate Ventures and Supernova Invest. The remaining two million were provided by Bpifrance and other support mechanisms for industry 4.0 players.

Diota’s customers currently include ABB, Airbus, Air France Industries, Air Liquide, Bouygues Construction, Dassault Aviation, Naval Group, PSA, Renault, SNCF, and many other Safran group entities.
