If you are a startup specializing in robotics, vision, motion control or AI then you could be in with a chance of winning the $10,000 top prize in the Cowen Startup Challenge at Automate 2022. The competition is open to any startup working in the automation sphere providing that the company has been founded within the last five years, is not affiliated with a larger enterprise or association and has raised less than $5 million since its creation.
The winner of the event will be chosen by a panel of industry judges who will listen to the pitch made by each of the ten finalists before picking their winner. In addition to the cash prize, each finalist will also be awarded complimentary floor space in the exhibition hall and thus have the chance to interact directly with the 20,000 attendees. The competition is sponsored by Cowen, a multinational, independent investment bank and financial services company.
Announcing the event, Cowen released a statement, declaring “The people behind startups continue to play a critical role in the development of new technology, and this competition is a way for us to support and usher in new growth, while providing a spotlight for these new technologies in front of potential partners.”
