Detecting a driver's level of tiredness

The start-up Innov +, a native of Orsay, in Essonne, developed Toucango, a housing which analyzes driver behavior and determines its state of fatigue. Can be installed on any type of vehicle, it has a camera that follows the behavior of the driver by day and night, marking the first signs of inattention and warned by an audible or visual signal, or a vibrate mode. It is through technology eye-tracking as this is possible. The eye-tracking is by means of a camera and complex algorithms to follow the movement of the eyes and, in this case, to deduce the state of fatigue. This technology works even at night, or if the driver is wearing sunglasses because it's every facial movements that are analyzed. The French start-up is of course the transport sector, where drivers often have long monotonous journeys to be made: they could so greatly benefit from such technology. Thus, Innov + launched the Toucango WebService which allows industry professionals to understand the risks of falling asleep at the wheel on all of their fleet, highlighting risk areas, enabling companies to launch campaigns prevention among their employees.
