Digital transformation - how will industry and distributors be affected?

MDD Expo is hosting a conference on the 30th and 31st of March in Hall 4 at Paris-Porte de Versailles, an event  that will surely interest all players in the industry of the future. The conference, presented by Jean-Louis Henriot, CEO of Lascom, and Franck Le Strat, CEO of Isatech, will address the relationship between manufacturers and retailers and how they have been and will be impacted by the digital transformation. Among the many issues which will be discussed is the question of what collaborative approach should be adopted to regulate trade between the two parties, and the transformation of the space in which these two sectors interact. MDD Expo is the international exhibition of big brands and is an important event in France for the distribution sector. Nearly 500 exhibitors, including more than 150 exhibitors of international origin were present at the 2015 edition with 35% of participants are from the non-food sector. It is extremely interesting to see a big event like MDD Expo to focus on the digital transition, therefore confirming that the subject is an important consideration for big business.
