The 20th European Energy Transition Conference will be held from 22 to 24 January 2019. This event focuses on the energy transition, with this year’s theme being “Committed and supportive territories”.
Dunkirk, where the conference is taking place this year, will be the centre of attention for representatives of the public authorities, the economic sector, civil society and the academic world. Participants will discuss and share their experience in the field of territorial energy transition through plenary discussions, field visits and collaborative workshops.
The participants will be able to testify about the benefits of the energy transition at the local level, whether for biodiversity, the economy, employment, resource conservation, quality of life or health.
It will also be an opportunity for local actors to demonstrate that they are an essential link in the ecological and energy transformation of society.
Finally, this 20th edition of the “Assises” will allow participants to examine the implementation of the territorial Climate-Air-Energy policy over the past twenty years and make projections for the next twenty years with the aim of co-creating a carbon-free future.
