New president of French anti-pollution and environment association named

On Thursday, June 21, 2018, Philippe Maillard was elected president of Fnade, the French association of anti-pollution and environmental activities (Fédération Nationale des Activités de la Dépollution et de l'Environnement). This professional organization represents the environmental industry and includes manufacturers, equipment manufacturers, service providers and design offices involved in the field of waste management or soil remediation. After being deputy general manager of Suez environnement, Philippe Maillard is now at the head of this institution, a position that had been held by Jean-Marc Boursier since 2015. Aged 50, Mr Maillard graduated from École Polytechnique and École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. He has a great expertise in the field of environmental professions and has already held management positions in several waste and water subsidiaries in France and internationally. In addition, he has already chaired the FP2E or Professional Federation of Water Companies. Philippe Maillard said he was delighted and honored by his new mandate. According to Maillard, there are still many challenges that must be met together to support the ecological transition which will contribute to the implementation of the roadmap presented by the government last April. At the announcement of his appointment, Maillard took the opportunity to underline that Fnade companies are actively contributing to this collective challenge and he is convinced of their commitment towards ecological transition.
