The multi-use sealer
In this type of machine, the tube is inserted between two clamps which squeeze it. The destruction of bacteria and the melting of the TPE tube are ensured by increasing the temperature of the clamps. A few seconds after this operation, the tube can then be cut using a simple pair of scissors.
Operators are less dependent on the manufacturer which allows you to choose the supplier of your hoses.

The single-use sealer
To be able to use this machine, you must have small lugs which are integrated on the tubes in question. To disconnect the tubes, you must buy the hoses from specific manufacturers. In the event that it is possible to add them to third-party tubing, you will need to obtain a large quantity of hard plastic disconnectors/connectors.
You do not need to use a machine plugged into the mains to disconnect or install and connect two tubes.
If the tubes are disconnected/connected incorrectly, there is a considerable risk of contamination.
You are much more dependent on the manufacturer.
You will constantly have to order lugs.

The sterile sealing machine manufactured by MGA Technologies allows you to reliably disconnect TPE tubing from your process devices. The hose is squeezed between two clamps and an electromagnet locks them when closed.
Here are the different phases of the sterile sealer process:
The tube is inserted between the two clamps (jaws) by the operator who then closes the tool.
The temperature of the two jaws increases to the melting point.
The temperature level is maintained for a few seconds in order to ensure that the tube is melted and any microbes that may be present are destroyed.
The tube is then cooled by a vane pump until it can be handled by the operator.
The electromagnet then unlocks the clamps to allow the operator to visually check that the fusion has been completed before the tube is then cut using a pair of scissors.
