Alfa Laval to begin selling Packinox in South Korea

Alfa Laval, one of the world’s leading companies in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling, has announced that it will provide a South Korean petrochemical plant with its Packinox heat exchangers. This order, which is valued at a little over 18 million euros, was placed with the Alfa Laval Energy & Process service and is due to be delivered in 2017.   Alfa Laval’s Packinox Heat exchangers have been designed for use in recovering heat emitted during the production of xylene derivatives, then components of the ingredients used in the manufacture of synthetic nylon and plastic bottles. Lars Renström, President and CEO of Alfa Laval, commented on the order, saying  "This order confirms that customers of the petrochemical and refinery attach importance to the performance and reliability of our Packinox heat exchangers, which are extremely effective.”   South Korea is Alfa Laval's third largest market after the US and China.
