Alfa Laval improving Italian energy efficiency

Alfa Laval, a world leader in heat transfer, handling and separation of fluids, has announced that it has received an Italian order to provide equipment for a new petrochemical plant in Slovakia. This order, which amounts to approximately €6million, was placed with the Alfa Laval Energy & Process segment and is scheduled to be delivered in 2016.   The order involves supplying several gas boilers which will be installed in the process line of a Slovakian ammonia production plant. "Our equipment will re-use heat in the ammonia production process and thereby contribute to a very energy-efficient system, with low environmental impact," commented Lars Renström, CEO of the group. " The order confirms our products’ ability to meet the high demands of the petrochemical industry."
