Nestlé-Waters Vosges invest in new production line

Nestlé-Waters have announced that they are to heavily invest in the installation of a new aseptic production line. Nestlé-Waters have committed to investing 17 million euros to help bottle the organic infused and fruity drinks of their Contrexeville and Vittel brands. Ronan Le Fanic,the CEO of Nestlé-Waters Vosges, observes that the market for infused and fruity organic drinks is experiencing considerable growth and the demand for new products continues to grow, with 25% of French households already consuming the fruit-flavored water-based drinks. Le Fanic deemed that it was necessary to be able to anticipate consumer demand and ensure flawless production, hence the installation of the new highly technical and new production line. At the end of 2021, new equipment is scheduled to be installed to ensure start-up during the first quarter of 2022. Once the new equipment is installed, the production line will then ensure that between 14 and 16,000 bottles (ranging from 33 cl to 1 liter) are filled hourly. Nestlé-Waters France CEO Sophie Dubois, released a statement hailing the investment, declaring "this is an investment to encourage consumers to drink low-calorie, preservative-free, organic flavored mineral water drinks."
