Alfa Laval, a leading player in the heat exchange, handling and separation of fluids, today announced that it has received an order to supply a complete process line to an Indian vegetable protein extraction plant. The order, scheduled to be delivered in 2016 by Alfa Laval’s Food Service Technology & Life Science department, amounts to over €5million.
The order consists of a complete process line designed to refine protein, sugar and fibre from soybeans whose oil has been extracted. The process line is slated to comprise separators, filters, and heat exchangers.

Alfa Laval has been present in India for almost 80 years since the opening of its first office in 1937.
